Well, I can only stand continuous, unnecessary personal remarks for that long. There is no ****ing proof of my inconsistency anywhere here. I defended Hillary, you had to swoop in and draw me into an unnecessary conversation where I'm made out to be a biased supporter of an idiot again.

If there's no need for me to resort to defending myself against what I perceive to be unnecessary and disrespectful remarks (and don't act like these are the only ones, we literally had a conversation about this exact issue yesterday, a conversation you just abandoned in the end), then maybe you should take a look at yourself and see what you're contributing to those reactions.

I am easily triggered when people feel the need to lecture me when I am never and not ever trying to come off as if I'm a know-it-all who is going to lay it all out for everyone for once and for all. And I don't need people to criticize me for being biased and inconsistent when they're the ones who actively yank my posts out of their context to be able to make those comments about me.

On the other hand, though, I still replied to all of your points. I'm the one trying to have a conversation despite all I said above. You're the one who walks away.

Hillary changed her stance very recently when she decided to run for president, because she had to, because in 2016 supporting gay rights is the 'popular thing'.

Do you really think Hillary is not going to continue fighting for gay rights when she takes office? LOL Obama changed his mind too. This thing about who changed their mind first is so petty.

What is "acting out"

Many men in general, even self-proclaimed "masc" gay men find it off putting when gays "Act out" even today, so she wasn't that far off with the rest.

I don't think anyone's excusing Hillary for not being ahead of the times, or for just recently changing her mind or whatever. As people have said in this thread, there are good cases to be made for someone who honestly just switches their mind for political power/favor and someone who honestly evolves on the topic over time, and there is a case to be made for the person who has always been on an unpopular side of an issue even though it may cost them political power/favor.

Personally, I think that person is the most suited at least in terms of integrity and moral responsibility to be President but I can still appreciate someone who took their time to get to the "right" answer. As for whether it's an honest evolution or a flip-flop, if they intend to stick to their alleged word/beliefs, it doesn't matter that much to me. Things will still get done. Hillary only being for gay marriage as of 2012 openly doesn't mean shes going to ignore all gay rights issues and let the Republicans try to outlaw gay marriage again  In fact, I'd wager she will continue to move things along, as the will of people determines it to be necessary.

What I'm really trying to say is that I'm very skeptical about whether she has actually changed her mind or not. She seems to 'change her mind' a lot regarding anything it takes to get popularity. I just can't trust someone like that, or believe that their words are legit.
