I know. I completely disagree with his conclusions regarding minimum wage, education, healthcare, among other things.

What he does provide is ANOTHER viewpoint, one that is formed from facts and cold numbers that should NOT be dismissed. This is important context. He's not lying. He's just framing them to form a conclusion which fits his agenda.

It's important to pay attention to these cold numbers as you put them and not be swayed by emotion and blind prejudice such as that which Bernie employs and endorses.

Clinton is a good example of that. She aspires to what Bernie states but has the temperament and patience to deal with it progressively, not recklessly.

i agree. bernie's ideas imo is only demagoguery because of the state of the US political playing field right now, but i think his ideas are good. personally i think that one can have too much money (though i would never dream of putting a cap on how much one can make). my opinions on higher taxes on the rich etc are flimsy and i kind of feel that the 40 - 50 percent w/e it is that they pay is really enough (that's a lot to pay). but i will say wholeheartedly that someone working at mcdonald's 40 hours a week should be able to afford the basic necessities of life (and i know the argument is that this is a killer for small businesses, but honestly, this is a humanitarian crisis and some things have got to give).

I mean I love living here, don't get me wrong. I most likely won't move out since I've had built my career here but moving to Europe is something I've kinda wanted for some time or maybe live there for some time and then come back to the US. 

The culture here in the US and way of thinking is just..... so opposed to some things I believe. I mean Trump managed to get the nom.... says a lot

And I love the US, but I'm not really patriotic. At least not blindly patriotic like a lot of Americans are.

It is, from age three to the twelfth grade. After that, you hopefully worked towards scholarships or if you are poor, there are grants available. There is also community college, that is a fraction of the cost of state colleges.

Really? I received an excellent high school education, especially with the honors and AP courses. Past that, I think it should be up to the individual to work for scholarships and adapt their choices and expectations on what they can afford. I do believe community college tuition should be free, at least a couple of years worth to get a good start. Add that to AP classes from high school and a couple of summers at the CC and you would only have one year of college to pay for. Not bad at all!
