It is a giant risk and one that could be dangerous, not only to Americans, but to our allies around the world. If it weren't for that, I would go with giving the presidency to Trump just to show people what an "outsider" would really be like. They are even less likely to get anything done in their four years, but people believe that one person can really do things that no experienced politician could do. I think people are going to have to experience what happens to see that nothing is going to change in the way they imagine it to happen.

Also, there is a whole generation of voters who have had Obama as their President, since they were old enough to pay attention to politics. They don't have the Bush years to warn them of what it's like to have the GOP in power. It's like we need four years of an "outsider" and a Republican to hit some sort of reset button. I just wish it was someone other than Trump, who would be outright dangerous as the leader of the free world. That and the SCOTUS decisions coming up are enough for me to know that too much is at stake.

Side note, he wants another judge for his trial in November. See, he doesn't want a Latino judge to oversee the trial where he's having tens of thousands of cases of fraud brought against him and his worthless university where he extorted students, giving them useless classes to squeeze every dime out of them that he could.

Yes, he wants to lift the very same restrictions that saved our economy from almost breaking completely. He wants to hand the reigns to CEOS, corporations, and people who say they can't afford to pay workers a livable wage while they triple their own salaries.

He took that comment back the same week he said it. He was only pandering to the lower and middle class. Socially, he's a moderate. In every other way, he'd become a conservative puppet doing nothing but starting wars and lining billionaires' pockets. They already have him on their side for marriage rights, war, immigration, and abortion. What value of his will he sell out next to gain their support?

Too bad that class was probably at Trump university...which means it's probably worthless and ridiculously expensive.

He's an idiot and he's totally unfit to lead the country. If you're a conservative, that's fine. If you're a Trump supporter...no. Just no...but you're free to make whatever decisions you want and hold whatever opinions you want. I can respect that at least.

2. I didn't call him a bigot, I called him an idiot and a puppet.
3. Civil rights should NEVER be the states' decisions. Especially when it's something that literally impacts no one aside from the two people signing the contract.

Trump just thinks that all races are capable of the same mistakes and capable of the same accomplishments. That's equality. Martin Luther King Jr. didn't want white people to give black people anything except respect. Your idea of equality is jacked and goes against everything actual civil rights activists really wanted. 

But go ahead and twist it. Pull out your stacks of statistics and facts.....aka the same thing the feds led by liberals have done for five decades....just throw money at the problem. And guess what? The poverty rate is still the same as it was in 1960.

No, it is realistic thinking. When you are in the position where you won't be directly affected by some of the decisions a conservative government would pass or a dreamer that disregards reality...you are more likely to go for these types of candidates. Those with much to loose might look at candidate options differently than those who aren't in that position. The same goes for young adults who haven't experienced what their elders have experienced.

1. Wasn't referring to you. You say multiple people quoted in that post. Context clues, just observe them...

2. Some people believe in a strict interpretation of the constitution. It doesn't make them monsters with malintent.

I'm genuinely curious. Is there a reason why one believes in a strict interpretation of the constitution in light of modern advances in society, technology, our understanding of people, acknowledgment of minorities, etc? Is it just some unfallible, sacrosanct document because we were taught so in school, or what.  Why do people actually believe that unchanging views about something meant to govern a changing society is reasonable
