That's all fine and dandy - no one is asking anyone to continue to be a fan if they don't like where she is going with her career. 

It should be obvious now though what is meant when people say there are fans who actually support her and fans who just want her to release pop music. This new bit of news made the line in the sand pretty clear

I'm actually excited for this, I bought and loved C2C, will probably do the same for the upcoming one!

just because I don't like Jazz music it doesn't mean  I suddenly  hate her or anything like that, you just can't blindly like anything about a person, that's impossible

Calling tony an "Old Grandpa" and "I'm not gonna follow her to this boring path she chose, that's for sure." does not sound like anything a fan would say and certainly not a sentiment Gaga would want in a fan.

Or someone with a sense of respect for that matter.

Regardless how die hard fan your are. Gaga is still like any other public figure and she choose to be a mega star. It's very normal and healthy for people to not like or even hate some of the things she do. Isn't it of the things she stands for? Freedom of expression. I do agree with Marlon, we like gaga but don't have to follow her with whatever she does, it doesn't make us haters.

I'm very happy for Gaga that she gets to do this, but it makes me wonder when and if LG5 will come out this year. She said during the Golden Globes that she will put another album out this year and it makes me wonder if she was referring to this new jazz album or LG5, now looking at all the circumstances, I believe that it's this new jazz album.

Not liking Jazz also has nothing to do with this. I'm not a Jazz fan either, I just like her doing these Jazz projects because it makes her happy. 

Also being a "die hard fan" really has nothing to do with this. I'm specifically talking about respect for her and her happiness. 

When people start crying "I'm done with her", "I'm burning my stan card", "I'm giving up on her", "She needs to stop working with an old grandpa" .... that's when it becomes ridiculous and hard to listen to. 

Gaga would certainly rather have the support of a casual fan who appreciates her range in talent, than a 'little monster' saying she needs to hurry up and hand over her next pop album, is the point I was trying to make. 

Again its perfectly fine to not like where she's going, but just jump ship already because all the comments like those are just becoming clutter. 

Being a public figure I can't imagine how difficult it is having 2 million people chattering around you about how badly your decisions are and how you're going to fail miserably if you don't do X, Y or Z.

And then when you actually do X Y or Z its just beaten to S*** and you can't satisfy anyone

I didn't follow her during the C2C Era, and I probably won't be following her for the next jazz era either.

I don't mind another jazz album, but it's going to be hard to execute 2 albums + AHS... in 2016 and it's already June. maybe it's not going to have a tour.  I wouldn't be surprised if LG5 is shifted to 2017
