Come think about it you guys, would you prefer her ending the LG5 era and releasing C3C in late 2017, and spending 2018 with some jazz tour or something? I think having a small C3C release this year and getting it out of the way is better for her (pop) career, she will be freshly praised again and have a lengthy LG5 era built on that positivity.. The mere existence of C3C is like the answer to those who viewed C2C as just a marketing trick and not a genuine effort. Once again, it will probably do wonders for her image.. LG5 will still come out when its time comes, and honestly I can see it coming out in November with C3C in August/September.. But even having C3C and AHS as the only late 2016 treats and LG5 era starting early 2017 sounds cool to me, though I really think it comes out this year.. I mean we CAN wait just a bit more, I have faith that she'll deliver a masterpiece and both fans and the general public will be here for it. It's okay that we almost know nothing, makes it more exciting! ^_^

I'm excited tbh. It's gonna be a Cole Porter cover album and I'm excited for that. I hope it has a more consistent sound than C2C

I think this is a smart move. 

If critics like the LG+TB combination, and if C3C is released near LG5, the critics will not drag LG5 as much, even if it's not necessary. 

Also, can you imagine LG winning Best Pop Vocal and Best Traditional Pop in the same year?
