Tbh October would be the perfect time to release too. It's after the Grammy deadline, so she won't be up against Adele and Beyonce. It's not like she's cancelled LG5, maybe it's just coming one or two months later and we get a major role from her. Even if this was untrue, Gaga herself co firmed her involvement in season 6. If anything the shooting schedule might be wrong, but Gaga will still be featured in the show. Maybe just maybe she is doing what she wants. She is working on LG5 people just relax. It will come and it will be Epic. and because of things like AHS it just might get the Promo it deserves.
