Economy 52,861
20 hours ago, KURUSHITOVSKA said: Yes, ok, but like 80% of indians still live in misery so the country's economy is rising but its population is not recieving it. They still have unpavemented roads, cows on the streets like they were cats, houses one step away from collapsing, their higiene isn't the best, selling foods in the streets at 40°C with insects and fish or meat without ice in a bad condition... Their economy might be good but they still live like in the XIX century... Yes. Because they are undeveloped. The economic growth tho is because its developing. People are getting benefits thats why every year 2 million cars are added to Indias roads But these changes are slow. By 2040 to 2050 its expected to be the largest economy in the world. But with a population if well over 1 Billion, on a per capita basis it will STILL be poorer than the developed world China has developed a lot and its middle class grown. Yet its still far poorer than Western World its a slow change. People do see benefits, but its very gradual. Will take many decades or over a century for them to catch up to us. I'm interested in seeing where exactly they go and how the country will change as the economy grows, the amount of poverty in the country is just staggering, and I can only wonder if it's even possible for them to remedy that situation. Preach it a million times over. If the economy grows and oppurtunity grows, wages have to grow to compete for labor That has started to happen in China. Thats why they arent as cheap as they used to be to produce things but their consumption is growing as well as their middle class. Every Country eventually goes thru this transition as the economy matures India is still ways away from that tho.

So that makes me in the 1% of the top end 'wealthy' population. But the rest? Poverty is a big problem. But i can see situations improve. In time over several decades this should improves
