True but I was amazed by 1989 which was not that long ago, I was like wow a solid Pop album in 2014 almost going into 2015 cause it was released in Nov Anyways I went crazy over Cry Baby by Melanie Martinez and Badlands by Halsey and I loved how thematic those were and dimensional even more than pop records so maybe Alternative is the new Pop However I'd consider Cry Baby and Badlands Alternative Pop if that makes sense
Mikey Monster 1,561
I totally get what ur saying I love RedOne he's amazing and if she has some of his songs on the album it would be so great. But I think what she's got going with Ronsen and Impala is something truly good. I can picture Gaga bringing those collaborations to the world and everyone loving it and Gaga would just excel. I think it's overall better for Gaga's career. ❤️ Mikey McCampbell
Chelseaaaaaa 1,453
That was then, this is now. His quality of work has dramatically fallen. I also think she has outgrown him artistically but went back to record with him as a way to please her fans. Since then, it seems like she has taken a step back and wants to focus on HER creative needs. I'm thankful for that. I like some of the songs they've made together but rehashing former glory is never a recipe for success.
