Versace 7,959
Basically you know how the moral of Born This Way was to love yourself, be brave and be who you are, basically a gay appreciation album lol or like Lemonade, how it's about making the most of what you have, forgiving and appreciating you know what I'm talking about, albums that have a core message that runs throughout the songs or an album such as Beyonce or ARTPOP where it's just a collection of songs with no base moral Remember a morally instructful album isn't the same as a concept album , an album can have a concept such as Cry Baby with no moral or it can have both such as Lemonade how it's a Visual documentary and at the same time it morally instructs Tbh , I don't mind LG5 having a moral as long as it's obvious and realistic, I feel she tried to give a moral with ARTPOP, the whole follow your art thing, I honestly didn't get those vibes from the music and had to watch the interviews. I'm not here for another self-love album ala BTW. If LG5 revolves around a simple concept such as appreciating one's growth in life and becoming a better person, I don't mind but nothing too repetitive or artsy fartsy. Oh and please no concept for LG5, I'd like to give my own interpretation of it or for the music to talk without the need for a complex title or a complex background theme. andy232000 11,368
yes, duh. i cant understand why people like a song just for the music and no meaning. even if it has no meaning i make one myself.

Iluvartpop 411
I think in this part of her life she is beginning to create more music that sounds mature, so I assume the bulk of the material is moral (referencing to her Billboard Woman of the Year interview at the back of her house in Malibu), however definitely with some the marketable songs carrying a more light-hearted message because she's working on funk and stuff that would be more tailored with the idea of "having a good time". But I honestly won't mind either type of music, as long as it's great

Slayer 9,227
Yes, I want meaningful music, or at least cleverly written music. Songs like Fashion and Summerboy are not songs she is going to be remembered for. I want songs that pack a punch. And that doesn't necessarily mean they have to preach anything. I just don't want shallow, basic songs anymore because frankly Gaga is so much better than that. I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!! crisTEAne 21,059
Just now, Versace said: What does mutually exclusive mean outside statistics you can have a concept album with a clear artistic vision (the artist's meaning/understanding) and your own interpretation of that vision (your meaning/understanding) at the same time. if you hurt taylor swift, i'll hurt you back

petty 9,412
i like mindless pop music. i know gaga has always had moral/meaning behind her songs but TF/M was sort of mindless
Mister Gaga 22,897
Gaga would never release an album without meaningful lyrics. She'll have her own philosophy, regardless we understand it or not (ARTPOP). But i see her releasing some care free / silly songs (Donatella). But i think LG5 will be by far her most personal, mature and meaninful album to date.
