Why do you guys take everything so literally? Like I know Gaga said we take everything too cryptically, but that's because most of the things Gaga does is cryptic.

Gaga, I'm 99% sure, has advised everyone related to LG5 to, if asked, give shady, cryptic reponses so we're always guessing and we don't know everything about the album like ARTPOP. Don't forget all the rumors post-hip, pre-ARTPOP that ARTPOP could be pushed back to 2014, scrapped all together, that it would be out in June, etc.. As long as Gaga is cryptic/ silent and everyone around her is as well, we know something is coming. Not trying to be cryptic, I'm pointing out the fact that Gaga is cryptic and that she doesn't want us to know yet, or else we would

right? Like imagine if we were given ANY information back in January when everyone thought it was going to be released.... It's already almost June... It would have been ARTPOP all over again.  Gaga knows what she's doing this time lol

Spoiler

Still here for it tho, of course. A bit dismaying, but I mean, she's making it perfect so waiting's all we could do.

Yes, I also do love partying in moving houses as seen in that one Bacardi tv ad.

Yeah she loves metal jazz and rock

I feel cheated tho :(

Yeah I feel the same way but at the same time I always loved Gaga because she was never a pop artist and I loved how she used pop music to change the meaning and perception of many different things in mainstream music and our culture. I actually would love her as a Glam Rock artist.

After working on the album for over a year, and they still can't figure out a sound :air:

at this rate the album isn't coming out until her kids graduate from high school :toofunny:

To assume they 'can't figure out a sound' is ludicrous.

Specifically, the album should be conceptual like BORN THIS WAY.

"Should"

We better get, at the very bare minimum, 2-3 Redone songs... I don't want just Ronson on this album :koons:

"Better"

The self-entitlement of some of you people is unbelievable. You know, with LG5 you will be shocked. Stunned. You'll be very surprised indeed. Not least because of your own unrealistic and tailored expectations.

She is an artist, not a waitress taking your order. And if you don't get RedOne, or a conceptual approach, tough luck. If that turns you away from liking what she produces, that's your problem. Don't expect the rest of us to put up with your whining once it's out, because you give too much weight and credit to your expectations as if you know what's better for an album you know nothing about more than she does.

Where is the Lady Gaga who had inspiration every day?

Is she too happy to have inspiration? lmao

:(

Tell me how do you know if she is or isn't inspired everyday? How was lunch with her last week?

I can already see it. She is trying to figure it out and when record label force her to release something, it'll be messy. She just can't focus. I hope that this is all just rubbish talk and that she knows what she's doing.

All I want is cohesion, quality, good lyrics and TONS of promo. I don't care if the genre is country. :toofunny:

I think it's clear there is a definitive sound nailed down for the album, otherwise Mark wouldn't have said what he did about a "raw, organic, sort of analog album". Like what reason would he have to say that if Gaga were still thinking about where to take the album?

One of those statements includes that there is no strategy for the album other than to let Gaga work on it alone and to release it when she's ready. That's very different from this "let's trick the public into thinking nothing's coming" strategy y'all keep bringing up. Bobby's scenario is only 1000x more likely given Gaga's press statements for the last three years.

Given the choice between accepting wild speculation, conjecture, and convoluted theories over the obvious and most straightforward scenario, we know which way some in this fanbase are likely to go though.

I frankly think it's good that she's really taking her time and working to release something she truly believes is the best she can deliver...

I confess I'm not THAT excited to see more Gaga+RedOne, you know...it's been done. She probably wants to (and knows she has to) keep evolving, instead of trying to recreate a past that was glorious, but that maybe can't be reproduced (can you imagine if she does poorly after working with RedOne, the drama that would be created around it?)...

Idk, I'm not as shaken by the stuff he said in the last few days, tbh...and I'm excited to see what she's cooking up with Mark, but I also admit that a lot of my excitement for the new album had died out by now...

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.
