Please a bit of respect. We all know he is doin magic with Gaga.

Without him Gaga would probably not be as big as she is.

We all know he did magic with Gaga like 5 years + ago... Trying the same formula OVER AND OVER again is not a good thing... I am so happy that he is not the main producer anymore

Hunty, I'm already saying that about Mark. He is terrible, and the fact his only hit song has been accused of plagiarism by a 70s hip hop funk group isn't why I don't like him. He just offers nothing to music stars musical catalogue, everything he does is forgettable, timid, repetitive and uninteresting, to say the least.

wtf :awkney: Mark has produced&written INCREDIBLE songs

Yeah I was just pointing out how much Monsters are hypocrites : trashing RedOne after Judas flopped, trashing DJWS after ARTPOP underperformed, now wanting RedOne back while they were shading him during BTW. They are doing excatly the same with Mark Ronson praising him to hell but we ALL what what will happen if his songs are flopping on LG5...

To me Mark Ronson is ok, I give him a chance because we know Gaga take the best from her producers (like she did for the others). But to me he is overestimated on his own career, especially Uptown Funk.

Here's a non-Spotify link for those superior Apple Music/Tidal folks :emma::

Yeah this is horrendous. None of Gaga's past producers have done anything halfway decent outside of their work with her though (in some cases even with her). RedOne's strength is co-writing which is why it's no surprise all the pics of them together last year were of writing sessions.

that doesn't mean he will do exactly what he did on TF and TFM... He has in studio playing guitar with her. People doesn't know it but RedOne played in a rock band earlier in his life.

Now you know this is all a lie, and the TWO ROTY grammy awards disagree. Now I will say that while Uptown Funk is a clear honorable mention to several funk sounds of the 70's, I doubt him and Gaga are trying to recreate an Uptown Funk 2.0. We all know she's not the one to really go for that kind of mess. He's one of the most respected, but that doesn't mean you have to like him. He's for DAMN sure a better musician and producer than Red One is. Whether you like it or not.

Red One is definitely best when he's with Gaga, but he's not really all that phenomenal of a producer on his own.

I think nobody said the contrary ^^ People are just pointing out it is dumb saying that he shouldn't be on LG5 because he's doing horrible in his own while he has done some of the best Gaga songs

I think people need to realise working with Gaga is different. For exemple you can't be sure Mark Ronson productions will sound like what he does usually.

I'm just stating the obvious, because it's clear that people are torn between his producing abilities. He's okay, but Gaga like you said definitely gives that push. I also think it's that because of her musical abilities a lot more of her work shines through him since its mainly her melodies and his input on how it sounds in production form.

Good point about Mark's productions too. As long as they're creating in a space where the music is coming from THEM and not like Zedd's laptop where he had all those old beats that he recycled and gave to Gaga, I'm good.

OMG Shaggy, those were the times. I hear a "Rihanna". You people really need to understand a thing. Though this seems to get too confused.

There's composotion, production, the two may even overlap, as well as arranging. A producer usually does it all.

But a producer doesn't have to be the composer, and you just go to him and say, "Let's do a Enrique Iglesias classic and mantain the sound with the other releases."

Then the producer is responsible to choose the right drums, synths supervise the recording, do a pre-mix, add couple effect. The producer is more of a passive creator, he's mostly making sure that the recording goes smooth with the levels and they aquire the sound that was proposed.

I'm not a RedOne stan, i could care less, the music he does doesn't excite that much. I prefer Mark Ronson, who's influences i share, as well as taste. But you guys really need to stop and think for a change

Well 1)I don't think that he has ever produced anything else than pop-electronic music 2)The fact that Gaga isn't working with him anymore probably means something :laughga:

Another generic, basic, dated song from RedOne. He is stuck in 2008 with his tired ibiza disco.

Luckily Gaga is in good hands with Mark Ronson, he won't give her trash.

yeah it means they are done working together for LG5 and that he did his part. It was the plan since the start for them to work until late 2015. In January 2015 when RedOne talked about their collaboration, he already said that they would be done in late 2015. It happened like it was planned.

Only fans see him being scrapped. If we get your vision, we can also say she has scrapped DJWS, Diane Warren, Elton John, Nile Rodger and Giorgio Moroder.

LG5 is not a Mark Ronson album. She definitely has kept some other producers in it.
