Give Gaga a chance

Pretty much anyone active on this site will be here for the long haul. A 'fake fan' wouldn't be here consistently during this interim period. I believe we all love Gaga, and I hope I'm right. 

For me personally, I will always be a little monster. I think it's a part of me now, I really do. I think we have to learn that, yes, Gaga is going to change - she's changing right now - but this doesn't have to degrade her worth, nor erase her past achievements. Something new is coming: a different and unknown era is before us. Yes, as fans, nostalgia makes us crave the 'old' Gaga, but we must learn that this woman is more than The Fame Monster. She is more than whatever work she puts out. Gaga's soul transcends the music - and it is this that is the inherent and unchanging factor that I believe we all fell in love with. Whilst previously this soul was expressed in pop music, we are now moving towards a time where it will be expressed differently. It will be the same, but different. 

We hold Gaga back with our constant nostalgia. I have accepted that the Gaga we knew is still here, but is in a creatively different form. Gaga will always be the popstar who released Bad Romance; but that doesn't mean she has to re-do what she's already done in order to prove that. We must let her grow. The past cannot be undone, it is inherently a part of who she is - there is no need to fear 'losing' Gaga. 

Regardless of how she changes however, one thing will stay the same: I, and any other true monster, will always support her. Truthfully, LG5 doesn't even impact my monster status. I see a lot of monsters claiming that they'll 'unstan' if the album is a disappointment. For me, Gaga could release an awful album, and I'd still be a monster. She is more than the music. Of course, all I want is an incredible body of work from the queen - but if it doesn't come, then it doesn't come... she is still Lady Gaga and I am still a little monster.

My stan card says nothing about music.  I follow Gaga for who she is as a person.  She does so much to help others, I would follow her even if she never released more music.  I know people don't have actual stan cards, but I thought it would be interesting.   Mine is on card stock and could be burned, but it will never be burned.

That's not true.

Many members here left the fan base without returning back. Just look at the threads in 2011-2013 and maybe before that and you will see what I'm talking about.

Some fans are just tired of waiting because she's taking longer than usual to finish an album. Don't worry. Everyone will be here for her when LG5 comes.
