brendablethyn 536 Posted May 18, 2016 Share Posted May 18, 2016 The liberal half of the MSNBC Morning Joe duo spoke out Wednesday morning to call for the resignation of Democratic National Committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz for her unfair treatment of the Bernie Sanders campaign. “This has been very poorly handled from the start,” Mika Brzezinskisaid. “It has been unfair and they haven’t taken him seriously, and it starts quite frankly with the person we just heard speaking. It just does. You know that.” “Can I ask this? Why would Bernie Sanders politely get in line for the Democratic Party?” asked her co-host Joe Scarborough. “Because Hillary Clinton‘s people said so,” Brzezinski said sarcastically. “I sure wouldn’t. DWS has lacked both. She is the worst of what corruption looks like in modern party politics. I hope Hillary replaces her with someone who can earn back the trust of voters. In February 2015, Politico, citing unnamed sources, reported that Wasserman Schultz had lined up supporters in 2013 to portray any decision by Barack Obama to replace her as DNC chair as "anti-woman and anti-Semitic".
