She even had Max Martin craft generic hit songs for her, after she said she'd never work with him. Gaga is not desperate, she is an artist who is making a quality record with Mark Ronson. Who cares if it sells 2 copies if the album is amazing. The sad thing is all you guys are expecting from this new album is charts success, big hit songs, that's the only thing you guys care about. She's not Adele or Beyoncé whose the GP love everything they do. Gaga lost a big part of the GP during BTW and didn't achieve to get it back during ARTPOP. And I don't think she has it right now (even if she has a better image now) I think Gaga shouldn't wait 6 more months to start her era and to start teasing. The reason Bionic or Lotus flopped was mainly because the music was ****. If Gaga makes a great record, it doesn't matter if she waits 3 or 10 years to release it.
