Bad Bromance

A little too late, Ms. Banks.  Besides, I don't believe in the sincerity of that apology.  If she's truly remorseful, then she should apologize to Zayn personally and to the entire LGBT community whom she has offended time and time again.

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

She didn't write this. Her PR team did.

"Her PR team" would imply she has the money to hire a PR team.

By "PR team," I meant some poor, disgruntled grad student doing freelance.  :derpga:

Well I'm gonna forgive this bitch again (as a fan) because I think she's being honest.

And I also feel very bad to see so much hate on her even if she's regreting her actions. I hope she gets to be a better person because I think she is having problems.

Talent always wins anyway.

She needs to directly apologise to Zayn and the Muslim population, she needs to specifically apologise to the groups she has offended. To me, apologising to "the world" is still not taking responsibility and is still implicitly denying responsibility for attacking -specific- groups. It's like someone getting bashed and the perpetrator apologizing to the city  - it's essentially useless, say it to their face.

It's obvious that Azealia knows that the slurs are wrong, but doesn't understand or hasn't reflected on why they're wrong. Being aware of the implications is crucial to being able to change your mindset and attitude towards such behaviour.

Not necessarily. She knew she was wrong, so she apologized. When a woman has used so many slurs towards so many people, apologizing to the world seems right. And the only thing she needs to know is that she was wrong and her comments are racist most of the time. She does not need to know how or why each and every slur is offensive in detail.

And I am not a fan of hers. I just think maybe her contrition is real.

She ruined her image and I doubt it'll be repaired at this point. Considering that her Instagram is constantly under fire by others + she's lost basically all of her fans.

I do not agree that the apology is genuine when she hasn't apologised to the person most of the slurs this time around was directed at (Zayn, his mother etc). I'm not sure if she has apologised in the past, but if she has, this apology won't be genuine until it's clear that the cycle won't repeat.

Kim Kardashian

That's how it goes. She does some **** and then apologizes and then just repeats the same **** again.

Nothing new here. Wow, that could be the title of her next album... :gaycat:

We are all humans. Forgiveness is the key. but obviously, she has to change, she can start taking therapy.
