She is but as I have written in previous posts EBU has been in negotiation with Ukraine for a solution. It is only she that is banned, so I guess Russia can send someone else and still be in the contest, then it would be a shame if they weren't in the running order Lose control. Let go and fall. Bellatrix 34,796
Ukraine has decided that no concessions will be made for Julia, she is banned so it's now up to EBU on what to do. Ingrid Deltenre has stated that this could affect Ukraines participation coming years. You can read her letter to the Ukrainian prime minster here:http://esctoday.com/143622/eurovision-2017-ukraine-makes-no-concessions-russian-eurovision-participant/ Lose control. Let go and fall. Bellatrix 34,796
Also several countries have been threatening to boycott Eurovision this year if Julia gets banned from Eurovision, so it will indeed be really interesting to see how everything turns out. EdX 2,862
Gosh I can't stand these people. Yes, Eurovision is a show that makes people and countries come together. But NO, the laws of a country should not be disrespected like that just because of a contest. Why don't people understand that Russia sent Yulia on purpose? They knew what she had done. And they knew that she wouldn't be let in. And now everyone's attacking Ukraine because of this. You do something stupid, you pay the price for it. It's that simple, actually.
