While Prince was a very good vocalist, he is mostly remembered as an amazing live performer. And guess what, so is Madonna. 

I'm a Madonna fan to the bone but I'm the first one to say, yeah, she is not the best live singer while dancing. The only one who has mastered that art completely is Beyoncé, who can belt out Halo while running a marathon.

But have you seen Evita? Have you listened to Ray of Light? She is an excellent vocalist when she's not bouncing up and down the stage...

Yeah, but that was tribute for MJ, then she need to let her ego go for once and put the lime light on MJ and MJ alone. It was a bad taste and largely poorly received, by media, by MJ fans and everyone in between.

Yeah but he didn't like Gaga. That's why his fans disliked the performance. I personally loved it, but I can see why his fans didn't want it. But Prince fans shouldn't complain, Madonna and Prince shared a duet and had nothing but mutual respect for each other their entire careers. They even dated a couple of times in the eighties according to every Madonna biography ever written.

She made up for it... She had a MJ tribute act every night of her tour in 2009...
