The reason that I actually don't mind this, is because it's actually 100% true. 

Leather is literally the skin of a dead animal.

I'm grossed out by real leather, because I'm not able to make the separation between the clothing item and the fact that it is literally skin.

But personally I'm much more against fur. At least sometimes leather is a by product of the meat industry. The fur industry is just a terrible crime against animals. When you think about the actual facts of the matter, you'll realise that human beings are pretty sick creatures.

 

Side note: This kind of ties into things Gaga has said about the meat dress too. She's said that she was surprised so many people thought it was disgusting, considering it's really the same thing as leather.

Nothing better than leather shoes for mud, rain or winter.

When it comes to durability, quality and longevity - leather is top notch for purses, bags, belts and so on.

Winter + fur = yes please. 

If I want to get something I'll do it.

I don't buy leather so I can brag about how expensive it is, I get it for the quality I pay for. And it's my choice. So yeah. I don't blame you for buying p.orn or watching anime 24/7. Whatever floats your boat
