Humans are the more intelligent species, but why is it immoral to skin humans but not immoral to skin other animals. (Monkeys, let's face it, are more intelligent than human babies. They didn't say your personally have to stop, why are you pressed? Besides, they have a point and they are right. The meat industry is horrible to the environment and one of the biggest contributors to climate change/deforestation/extinction of endangered species, yet the majority people are either not aware of it or they ignore it because they don't think it's affecting them. But it very much affects all of us. I'm not gonna go out there and force everyone to go vegan, but I do encourage people to decrease their meat consumption whenever appropriate. Real leather gets too wrinkly, damages when wet, has a funky smell, and is very heavy...it's skin! Plus, we technically could have the real stuff be SUPER expensive cuz they only make it once the animals die naturally.
