Some praised her performance in AHS describing her as a perfect fit whilst others said she was stale. Lets not pretend the UK Media never gives credit when deserved. If she is good in the role of Cilla she will be praised massively for mastering a really unique role however if she doesn't do it justice she will be slated. It's simple as that. The UK media doesn't have a vendetta against celebrities just as much as anyone else does, yes they may be more direct but that's not the discussion. Hopefully. ...you are right though, a lot of people will make assumptions solely because it's Gaga and that will sadly taint a lot of people's experiences when watching. I'm all for her taking the role but it's a huge risk and I don't know if Gaga may be ready for that after seeing her previous works.
