Only thing I know is: the first time I really got to approach her was summer 2013, and I found her so freaking tanned, it surprised me! Same with Papa Jo. Your ancestors may still be from Northern Italy which is heavily intermixed with Gallic origins, explaining the white skin tone. Italians towards the south tend to have swarthy skin. Sicilians tend to be swarthy because of the influences of the Carthaginians. Your lineage must have been from the eastern shore which was influenced by the Greeks of Syracusae, or perhaps you simply have Gallic ancestors who moved to Sicily. That happened a lot.
