Not you posting attacks on Hillary in a thread about Bernie.

:deadbanana:

The OP explicitly mentions Hillary, and this is a political thread. "Ctrl + F" can be used to find a life.

You're going to be sadly disappointed because she won't be indicted. Nice try though.

Also, not you turning this thread into a positive for Bernie. :rip:

600 pages of violations isn't a positive, but whatever you say.

Also, I wouldn't be so sure. We don't know what the feds have on her, and all they need is to prove negligence.

He said it's not a problem with Hillary and Trump's campaigns, to point out that this is a unique situation regarding Bernie.

LMAO you are so ****ing adorable I could just eat you up.

I'm 102% sure! As sure as Bernie won't win the nomination.

Lion Heart

The Sanders campaign will have to refund ALL those people who exceeded the limit.. which might actually bankrupt his campaign.

Let's say he pulls an impressive $23 Million in campaign contributions in April.. and he spends all of it on the month's Primaries.. and it was discovered that at least $3 Million of that cash was from donors who have exceeded the limit, then that means he has to RETURN those $3 Million... but he can't because he SPENT IT ALL.

I'm sure most of those donors have no idea of the $2,700 limit (even though the rules are listed when donating to a campaign) but someone like Mark Ruffalo should know?

Ultimately the Bernie campaign will probably ask the DNC to help pay off the debt.. but in return he'll have to campaign for Abuela Secretary. :green:

693 pages is far and beyond a simple failure to comply.

Looks like systemic campaign finance fraud. This isn't the first warning. This is the final warning. They know about the problem! They just didn't feel the need to stop breaking the law.

If you compare past RFIAs for Romney, Obama, and Clinton just to see if this is somehow within the bounds of normal -- none of them were more than 6 pages long.

It blows my mind that Mark Ruffalo, a well known surrogate of his, continues to donate to the camping even though he knows he reached his legal limit!

It's to limit how much individuals can influence the elections via funding. It's the same argument employed against Super PACs and Citizens United.

I personally don't see the problem, as richer people can make up for poorer folk who can't afford to support their candidate, but many take issue with it. I see where they are coming from though.
