Lemonade is a great album and if gaga make a better album we can beat her.. My problem is they assume gaga will flop or they think she will lose again..  And yes Adele 25 nothing new..

Yeah, I get it. I think ARTPOP damaged the Monsters' self-esteem as a fanbase, and their faith in Gaga in general. I mean this doubt and scepticism is like a deffense mechanism in case the album doesn't perform that well critically and/or commercially.

Personally, I have no doubts she can outdo them. And she seems to be in the right place to actually do it. But, not everything has to be race, as well. I mean this is not about convincing someone how Lemonade is >>> than 25, or LG5 is >>> than Lemonade. It's about having good music, and enjoying it.

The Grammys are probably the shittiest awards, I honestly don't give a xxxx bout them tbh.

And I'm pretty sure Gaga's magnum opus is yet to come, she's never been in a better place, with better musicians and with such health and energy. She'd better don't disappoint.

With good reason, though. To date you can still see remnants of the dragging Gaga got for an album that was not worse than what were being released at the time. If she "flops" again, then this could really damage her career permanently. We don't want her to be like Xtina, whop flopped with Bionic and even with a "rebirth" album, Lotus. So yes, those concerns do have some basis.

I would agree with you if you changed 'cannot' to 'probably cannot'. I agree that she should release after the Grammy deadline but we do not know for a guaranteed fact that she's gonna lose to Beyonce and Adele without doubt. No one can predict the future.

Thing is it's not a matter of our confidence in her. It's a matter of the critics' and the GP's perception on her if they could objectively see LG5 as better and more worthy (if it indeed is) of awards. Like I said above, Beyonce has had several years to collect acclaim and respect, while Adele was even more meteoric than Gaga, who is coming from a recent "flop" era.

Cheek to Cheek won a Grammy after constant negative publications on her. If you say they awarded it for Tony Bennett, then no, a lot of critics complimented Gaga's vocals in their album reviews and were surprised by her ability to sing jazz.

Neither the critics nor we know how Lg5 sounds like, we do not know whether it stands a chance against 25 and Lemonade. That doesn't concern the fact of their pass records, not to mention Gaga spent the entire 2015 and early 2016 showcasing her raw talent.

Fair point. That, however is Jazz. We haven't seen the GP react well to her pop music since 2010, or 2013, depending on how you view them
