It's just music?  It's Gaga's career.  A leak of LG5 would ruin the release.  The music would be out before the planned time and before the planned promo is in place.  The era would be off to a messy start and that would cause bad public impression of the album.  People would ask, why weren't the sales better?  They would forget that it didn't get released with the bang that was planned, and Gaga would be blamed.  Gaga has fought her way back from a messy era that began with a leak.  It's not just music.  It's a career.

I know you like to use the "everyone feels the same way as I do about you" tactic to make people feel small. I've seen you use it to other people as well. But I know that on the whole that isn't really true. In this thread alone several people have liked my posts to you, whereas you have seemed to amassed zero  I hate to refer to something like the "like" system as evidence, but you're the one who tried to make it out to be some kind of popularity/playground affair. I've been contributing to this forum and community years longer than you've even been here, doll. So I find it hugely amusing that you waltz in calling everyone stupid and delusional and then accuse me of insulting the intelligence of everyone here. Truly baffling.

I'm on the same boat as some people here, I don't want LG5 to leak but I'd love to hear the first cuts of some of Lady Gaga's music before the songs were made suitable for the mass market, before they get the pop treatment making them more sellable for a popstar.

I can understand wanting to be called in by Interscope as a focus group to hear it firsr to see if we like it, but some people constantly demanding that it be leaked is so annoying.

I disagree with you there. "It's just music". That's the problem with the industry and labels and fans, they just see everything as just a song or just an album. Yeah, sure for some artists they just create songs, that have no meaning other than to achieve chart success. But then there are artists like Gaga who put so much into her work, she puts so much into the music, she's puts pieces of herself into the music, pieces of her soul, and tears and blood and sweat into the music, into the album, and it's so much more than a song or an album, it's a reflection or recollection of a moment in her life she wants to share with the fans, or a time capsule of memories frozen in time put into the form of music for the fans. It's so much more than music. The way people these days reduces music to chart positions and say things like it's just a song, it's just music or write songs off if they aren't a chart topper really bothers me.
