2016 Song of the Summer

The 2016 Billboard Song of the Summer chart will begin the week of Memorial Day. That's just a couple weeks away. What do you think will be the song of the summer? Last year it was OMI's "Cheerleader" and the year prior it was "Fancy". Typically, all the songs that will be on the chart are already out, whether they're singles yet or not. But sometimes new songs will find there way onto the chart. 

 

Around this time last year, Billboard predicted "See You Again" to win the prize, but it took 2nd place.

Clearly, The Weeknd becoming a major music star was not foreseen at the time the predictions were made.

Will Drake's "One Dance" continue to grow?

Will The Chainsmoker's "Don't Let Me Down" continue it's upward surge?

Or will a new song like Britney's "Make Me (Oooh)" take over the summer?

As much as I wanted to vote for Into You, i had to go with the realistic option and vote for JT, which his song is still really good too.

Hopefully Don't Let Me Down, it's the best song on the list in my opinion. How I wish it was LG5's lead single.
