But for them it's so sad and in Gaga's case so inspiring and brave to talk about it. But when he does it he's bashed and judged. IDGI! people just like to hate him- which is probably half the reason he's turning like this. its kind of crazy that people hold him to a standard like he's going to have the maturity of a 35 year old. He's still young and it's totally okay for him to be getting worn down from fame.

Yes- and Gaga fans should be empathetic to that tbh because she had a similar struggle as Applause was released (Perez tweets anyone??)

Didymus 34,380
Seeing some weird arguments in here. Every artist depends on their fans, but not every artist has fans like Biebs There is no way in hell he could ever have foreseen the madness he is forced to face. He'll still do concerts, he'll still release music, that should be ****ing enough. The extra stuff is extra. Besides, don't forget what Gaga said a while ago: "I was ****ing tired! I was overworked. It became all about the money. I began feeling like a corporate machine – and my art was paying the price. I didn’t get into this business to sell perfume or take selfies with strangers." Plus all her comments about how shallow social media communication is and her Instagram post about Sartre. I'm sure Gaga would sympathize with Bieber here, so why can't you guys? An artist's way of giving back to their fans is to keep working. Everything else shouldn't be considered a necessity. It's like expecting people to work more than everyone else because it's "their passion" and it shouldn't be a burden to work 24/7. Deluded argument. Work is work and it ends when it ends. Snow 1,582
I have never liked him NOR his behaviour, however this is sick. Why on earth should he Take damn selfies or autographs?! Noone has a right to be demanding those. Its not his work or have I missed something? So his job is a selfie taker not musicians? No matter how you are a celeb, its not really your job. Sure to be expected to some extent and you can be polite about it. But not constantly. Here I should refer jb to Madonna. She hasn't really done that in years (or ever). She has a very healthy attitude towards fans and in no way approve or encourage insane "stanning" or whatever.
kizurl 1,801
Well then hire more security: Ignore the fans etc. Don't whine like a child because the audience which you deliberately cater to are young juvenile millenials.
Bambino 24,290
Anyway, he should either take it or leave it and just go and become some irrelevant, alternative singer. But I think it's not a bad idea if he checks into rehab to get some help.

He seems more than reasonable here, good on him for doing what's right for him Well, if you would hire at a job and you don't like certain parts of it which are pretty much essential , would you really hesitate doing them? Taking pictures with fans isn't "pretty much essential" at all, it's optional but most choose to do so because the benefits outweigh the risks for them, not everyone though (Justin being an example here) which is fair enough. If you DEFINITELY want to get a picture with an artist then the sure fire way is to get a Meet & Greet Otherwise they're not obliged to do anything really

Most of his fans are literally jumping and grabbing him in public, time to get a reality check The lies are hidden behind his insanity and delusion. He would be flipping burgers (if his attitude didn't get him fired) had his fans not given him a platform and career. He owes them big time for sticking around for this immature and childish ways.
