Oh gosh I don't want to talk about this, I don't want to lose her.

Me neither. Just setting an example so you understand where I am coming from.

Nope. Her first 8 years were great, but legend is a big word. You don't become one that easy.

So you consider everything she has accomplished easy?

Yeah but I don't know, if she died people would surely be sad and mourn her death but she wouldn't be considered a legend I think. All she needs is one more successful era aka a comeback and then she'll have 10 years of career and nothing left to prove.

The whole concept of a "legend" is ridiculous in my opinion. The mere fact that no one dares to call a living artist a legend, unless they turn a certain age, speaks for itself.  The term is completely circumstancial and ambiguous.

I think she needs to last another decade to be remembered as a legend. She's still very much in the baby part of her career if we're comparing her to other legends.

Some artists like Tupac and Amy Whinehouse are considered legends by many, and yet they did not last much longer than Gaga.

No, but 8 years is very short time. If she died now (Knock on woods), would she really be remembered like for example MJ, Bowie or Prince in 10 years? I don't think so tbh.

Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?

Well, Gaga meteoric rise and her overall career is definitely an anomaly that doesn't happen very often. Would she be remembered like them, probably not as much. But I pretty she has had enough impact to be remembered for a long time.

They passed away and left amazing discographies so it's hard to compare them. If Gaga died, she probably would be remembered as a legend but if she simply fizzles out then no, she won't be.

Not yet, but she will be in the future, I have no doubt about that. Does she have the qualities of a legend? Yes. Does she influence culture like a legend? Yes.

Gaga has left some of the most iconinc songs, music videos, fashion, and performances even bigger than some of these two.

My point is, if she waters it down with more ARTPOPs then no one will care. She'll be nothing but a chick who had some catchy songs out once upon a time.

If she fades, people will only forget her for a moment. But she already left a huge impact enough to be remembered for a long time. For example, no one was really talking about prince in recent times, yet everyone came back to remember his accomplishments as soon as he died. Gaga is not a Kesha.

Amy left just 2 albums and she's considered a legend not just bc of that and yes bc the controversy around her

Gaga qualify as a legend.
