I find that a ridiculous response. I put the actual ideas of all the politicians I mentioned on the backburner. Maybe that wasn't exactly obvious with Trump (because indeed, he has made racist remarks) but it should've been with Bernie (I think calling him idealistic but practically clueless is an unwarranted insult towards him).

I'm not talking about their policies at all, I'm talking about the most straightforward, simple "aura" they bring to the table. People have been wanting Hillary to win for years because it was time for a woman to be president. Like I said, Susan Sarandan has openly discussed how not voting for Hillary got her tons of hate from American women because not voting for Hillary = not supporting women. I didn't say Gaga voted the same way, I just said that I assume she does because so far I can't think of any good reason that would make her vote for Hillary instead of Bernie (who would be a far more logical choice when Gaga's popular messages are taken into account). And unless she offers an explanation, I don't see any good reason why I have to apologize for that as if I should know better. Guess what, I don't know better and the only person to blame for that is her.

Besides, I can't at nobody noticing how my comment was obviously linked to Gaga using a metaphor in her message that is 100% linked to Hillary being a woman and nothing else She wants Hillary to "mother" the United States. And y'all are seriously pretending I have no good reason to assume she's voting for her because she wants to see a woman as president? If anything, the core of my post was that I wish she would talk about it more thoroughly so we could understand her choice. That already implies that I of course ****ing know that Gaga obviously has better reasons. But as long as she doesn't tell us, we can't know, and that means y'all don't know either so don't come with your own assumptions, then you're as wrong as you're painting me to be.

No, I was mentioning white people voting for Obama. And I could very well call them racist for assuming the skin color of every other candidate disqualified them from being a desirable president from the beginning. I could even call out everyone who voted for Hillary because she's a woman sexist. Again, I wouldn't 'cause that's ludicrous. But I also think it's ludicrous to call me out for being sexist when I write that Gaga hasn't provided us with any other reason for her vote than that she's a woman (which the tweet would seem to confirm at a superficial glance).

I never said Gaga voted for Hillary, or should be assumed to vote, only because she's a woman. But that's all we got. I know she doesn't owe me that explanation, but that doesn't mean my wish should magically evaporate.

You are confusing people's arguments. 

It's not about what you call her or whether or not it's true that Gaga is voting for her just because she's a woman.

It's that you assume that she is doing it because she's a woman, expecting evidence to prove the contrary. Gaga hasn't even stated she is doing it because Hillary is a woman. The only evidence you have is purely circumstantial. 

Therein lies the sexist mentality of this thought process.

The default state should not be assuming that women are dim enough to only support a candidate because of their gender. There may be related reasons but they are never the only reason.

My original post was about how I wish we'd have more info, because up to now we can only guess she's voting for her because she wants to see a woman as president (and I have already explained multiple times why I concluded that - sure, it's circumstantial evidence, but that's all we have, which is what I was complaining about in the first place).

All this sexist stuff is just overanalyzing and insertion of intentions that were never in my post and that I have already dismissed over and over again.
