Nope! I'm a hypocrite in that sense. But at least I can acknowledge what is right and wrong. Killing for fur is completely unnecessary.

It doesn't matter that you acknowledge it, by your logic it is wrong. When you stop being a hypocrite you can insult other peoples choices.

I can insult other people's choices whenever I want if they're wrong. I can insult my own choices as well.

No, you can't. If you aren't going to abide by your own rules, your opinion is forfeit. It doesn't matter if you insult/make fun of your own choices, hypocrisy is hypocrisy.

So I can't say littering is harmful for the environment if I use fossil fuels?

It's the same logic. You're saying we can't say killing for fur is wrong when we aren't vegan.

We would not progress as a society if only the 100% clean people spoke out against an issue.

You're taking what I said and distorting it to use in a completely different argument. Stop trying to dig your way out of a hole you dug yourself. You're judging someone for something they wanna do, but you participate in the consumption of slaughtered animals. You're part of the problem.

It's the SAME logic. I'm not in a hole. I know the ethics of some of my choices.

If we all abided by your logic we'd be in a gridlock on all issues since no one is a saint in this world.

It isn't the same logic though, you know the ethics of your choices, and you criticize people for not aligning with them, yet your ethics are just as flawed as the people you make your half-assed snide remarks at. Then when people point out you're a fraud, you try and flip on an statement that has nothing to do with the original argument.

You're the goddamned Pharaoh of Fallacy.

@Themysciran i honestly am trying to respect what you're saying... i just don't get why is it that whenever someone tries defending animals, people are quick to jump down our throats and tell us to mind our own business? Correct me but i can't think of any other social justice issue which receives this kind of response... it's pretty common knowledge at this point in time that fur is generally at the expense of violence and torture..... i just don't see why it's so wrong to call someone out for supporting this trade.... :wtf: I know no one cares, i've certainly discovered that even slight involvement in the animal rights movement is extremely alienating... I'm face the constant dilemma of not wanting to annoy people yet it's so frustrating and sad when i see genuinely good people promoting something so violent........ I dunno

It IS the same logic whether you want to recognize it or not.

You can call me a fraud all you want. That's your right. It's a valid opinion.

However you came in this thread just to shut someone down over speaking out over something they think is wrong.

You are an ENABLER. Just like the people who shut down people who speak out over issues such as racism or any type of discrimination saying it's their "opinion" or "freedom."

Swan Heart

Wearing fur is stupid.

They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.
