That's actually really great for the LGBT movement. Trump has very big influence over the opinions of a huge part of (mostly conservative-leaning) Americans, and if he actively campaigns pro-LGBT, it will cause millions (perhaps tens of millions) of people to change their stance on gay rights. He's a very influential person, and many people follow everything he says because he is like some messiah for them. It does, however, contradict with the nationalist tradition stuff he gets his votes from.

Trump's view on the LGBT during his campaign has been a little sketchy as he's hedged a lot of it to get the nomination. Cruz even called him out for not being anti gay marriage if I remember correctly? Interestingly though, he was pro-LGBT a long time before his campaign... Unlike Hilary. 

I would still vote for Hilary but I really don't think Trump would be that bad for America anymore.
