I just blew it off since it seemed too long to wait, but now I actually feel it is a big possibility and not a bad one too. There are plenty of promo slots for that type of release schedule. The only reason I still think Gaga wants to release the lead in August is because the fact that the VMAs are in NYC at MSG. That's Gaga's home. Plus I'm sure she can get prepared for the new era between now and then. One other possibility that would allow the single to be released near the VMAs but still be expedited is a single to have the album out in early October just in time for AHS. C3C to be released on December 12 2016, C3C ball to be started on March 30 2017 and to be ended on February 14 2018 to celebrate San Valentine's. If commercially successful another round of the tour will take place on the USA, this one to be ended by October. I guess she wants to make sure her music connects with the GP. She doesn't have the hype Adele has, so it is the safest choice. All the other artists do it too...
