On the American market (which, let's be honest, is the most representative market when it comes to an artist's international appeal), as a solo artist, she has never been able to chart better than #62, so let's take several seats here In the second most influential music industry in the world. She has had 4 UK number 1's and 8 top tens in just a few years meanwhile gaga and bey haven't had a number 1 since telephone sadly and gaga has had 2 top tens since 2012 and bey has had 1 but she isn't even the main artist

UK is just a market out of hundreds.Rita is big in one country.Beyonce and Gaga are in 200. Gaga had 3 singles (1 well promoted single) since 2012 and had 2 top 10 hits..Even if she was bigger than Adele it would be impossible for her to have more top 10s in the UK than what she already has since 2012

I agree Beyonce and Gaga are way bigger names in the UK than Rita Ora but in terms of what people in the UK are listening to on radio etc Rita Ora is more relevant at this moment but certainly NOT overall. UK Monster and Britney Spears' debate has made this thread!
Iwontell 7,312
Ew...trying to surf Bey's wave of slayage...no, gurl...no... ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

venusfly 17,885
Lol @ people shading Rita to fit in. She's literally done nothing problematic ever as far as I know Other than be falsely accused of something and make a joke out of it

Ask anyone in the street anywhere in the world who Rita Ora is and let's have a good laugh. She obviously has enough success to be invited to the Met Gala, but implying in any way that she is bigger than Gaga or Beyoncé is an aberration. She definitely is relevant in the UK. No doubts about that.. People here care about the US since it's a lot bigger as a market.

No. In no way am I implying she is anywhere near gaga's level of fame I'm just making a point that she is relevant no need to get defensive.

What is there to laugh at oh she is a pop star who is worth millions hahaha what a loser. Because I'm sure she is very proud of what she has achieved her music is great she has alot of fans and she seems to have a lot of fun doing what she does.
