In a bid to stay afloat, troubled clothing retailer Aéropostale ARO 0.00% may file for bankruptcy as early as this month. Shares fell nearly 28% before trading was halted pending news. The once popular retailer is reportedly preparing to file Chapter 11 bankruptcy—a move which would allow the company to lessen its debut burden and attempt a comeback, Bloomberg first reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter. ... It goes to show that you can't do the same thing over and over again. Especially when there are more desirable competitors that do it better. Not just blaming the e-commerce. Costumer can get better clothes from American Eagle, Uniqlo, and such for example.
