You are now accusing me of trying to offer a counterargument to everything when the fact of the matter is that you started quoting me telling me my opinion was wrong. I think it's a reference for my own reasons (which I explained from the beginning), you think it's not a refrence for your own reasons (which you have also explained). The only reason I brought up other things, incl. the double standard and the Monster bias, is because you used "objective" claims that I just didn't think were true. That is all, I have always respected your opinion though. In contrary to you, who started a conversation saying my opinion wasn't valid because you already knew all the answers. Well, I reject that because that's not an opinion. That's an opinion disguised as a fact, which is not what I'm doing, or at least I'm not intending to do that. So maybe take your own advice. Stop being a zombie. There doesn't need to be a counterargument to every argument. If you get me get me from the beginning and don't start ****. I didn't understand how you can defend and compare her to Gaga. and I knew how you are when it comes to any (successful) artist not being well-received here. I only wanted to make sure you know there's no double standard. if you didn't play the same card every time I wouldn't have responded. and why didn't you just say that to you the cases are the same when you can't prove the process behind which one was closer to being a rip-off and which one was more genuinely conceived as a tribute? why do you disguise your opinions as facts? because most of us do. unintentionally. but most of us know how to show we get where the other person is coming from and don't just continue writing counterargumentative essays. you need to end on a winning note. people aren't even really interested when they argue with you. just an observation. it feels like it's gonna be a drag from the very beginning. it's a shame, because you really know how to construct a thought. and you really make sure you won't be misunderstood. and I feel that you really don't want to come off as a cynic when it comes to Gaga. but you want to win more. I can go all Sigmund on you and tell you what might have made you clueless to the way you look when you go about things the way you do, but I didn't. so don't try to make me look so presumptuous when I talk to you with understanding and my only accusation is the lack of yours. Again: you started quoting me responding to someone took offense with my opinion (for no reason, I might add). You presented wrong facts in your posts which I responded to and then this whole thing came out. I already said I respected your opinion and you apparently don't believe that, fine. You have a general problem with me (I didn't write essays in here or targeted Gaga), but discussing that is not on-topic, doesn't apply to our discussion so please quit it, take it elsewhere if you wanna continue. As I understand it, she was credited on the original version of the album. Remember that she released many re-issues of it? Apparently, she was removed from the credits over time. I remember there was a time when she was credited on the Wikipedia entry too. She isn't now, but she was once. She may be off the writing credits but she's still on the production credits, however. Probglum 824
of COURSE it's always deemed as "copying", because if someone used "inspired" instead of "copy" (which is most likely the case), no one would be interested and threads would flop... I have seen her credited as a writer before, though. Wikipedia certainly kept on changing it. You see, Beyonce apparently changed a word and that was all it took to get her name on there. And no, being a producer is nothing to do with vocals, it's all instrumentation. That's why you don't see artists who can't play instruments/electronica on production credits. But Beyonce seems to think adding a diva flair counts as songwriting and production. I think that's why her name's on cover versions that weren't changed, yet mysteriously have her name on them. Seriously, look up Resentment (cover of a Victoria Beckham song, completely unchanged) and Honesty (cover of a Billy Joel song, completely unchanged), and see Beyonce's name on those credits.
