melancholic, that's the right word! or bittersweet... i don't know, but it does have a classic vibe to it.

exactly. i said this before, but i can hear her narrating her and, by extension, our journey on the road to love. so wonderful and uplifting. now in contrast, imagine if she had written the AP thank you note in the same spirit, if she had honestly said all the things she had to go through: my heart would break, tbh. that's why i think that there is a reason why the AP is sort of plain, simple, or, maybe that's the right word, mechanic. the thank you note of a machine.

If she hadn't gone from one extreme to the other, then I don't think there would be so much bitterness here. 

One reason that I fell in love with gaga because she engaged with and genuinely cared for her fans. 

But now she's all about Hollywood. 

Is it so bad that monsters miss the person they fell in love with? 

This is the general consensus here, but it's so... exaggerated? She's simply on a break and taking time off for herself - most people act like "the old gaga" is gone forever but we don't know that. For most fans I've seen it's not just a case of "missing" her anymore, it's to the point of actually insulting and degrading her. With fans straight up attacking her, I'd understand why she'd want to take time off.
