That album? Sounds of Light and Fury, by none other than Dazzler. Additionally, the "pre 1989, of course" comment teases a rumor, which first circulated last summer, that Taylor Swift — whose 1989 album dominates many a metaphorical turntable still — would make a cameo in the movie. The rumor started when Apocalypse writer and producer Simon Kinberg tweeted an image of Swift withApocalypse stars Turner and James McAvoy last July, although he later told MTV that there was nothing to it, and that the photo was simply taken backstage at a Swift concert near the Apocalypse shoot.
