That's just a label. As soon as she releases a massive song and radio eats it up... everyone will like her.

Look at 'the teenage girls idol' Justin Bieber. He released bops and... bam. Everyone hated him just 1.5 years ago lol

Hopefully Gaga can rise like Bieber did. My straight friends ARE ALL talking about Bieber now.

They're bopping to his music and some even wanted to buy Purpose.

But then Bieber put a lot of effort into changing his image to appealing to more masculine audience, Gaga seemed to be that kind of woman who's like 'I don't want more? I have my fans and I'm happy with them!' :diane:

I will say that between the music and the aesthetics for both Born This Way and ARTPOP, it certainly doesn't seem like she's interested in appealing to everyone. I wouldn't call her material "gay", but very flamboyant and colorful 👀

The thing is people are unwilling to talk about her music in the first place, even if they listen to her music.

This is another thing I've noticed. People tend to shít-talk her music, when they're really only familiar with a handful of her songs. And the ones that they are familiar with ("Alejandro", "Judas", "Poker Face", "Applause") are really just as good as anything else that's been on the radio in years, arguably even better. There is a negative bias against her for some reason.
