The ARTPOP era was so funny

I'm not sure if I'm a real little monster because sometimes I watch stuff only to start laughing at stupid **** Gaga does or says. She's so strange and over the top sometimes that she sounds ridiculous. This thing just grew more and more as the ARTPOP era was happening.

When this announcement dropped back in 2013 I laughed about it a lot because... it sounds so funny.

"Altering the human experience with social media" as if she decided to top mark zuckerberg "we bring ARTculture" is that a new word? "into POP in a reverse Warholian expedition" you can judge me but at the time I didn't even know what "Warholian" meant.

"and watch in real-time on a virtual globe (?) as ARTPOP explodes onto the physical and virtual universe at once"  what the actual **** does that mean? even now I'm not really sure 

 

And I've watched all of the interviews and those were funny too because Gaga used to say a lot of random stuff then she would explain how that was assimilated with the ARTPOP concept. Like cumshots.

 

And we all remember this iconic interview where she was so tired and sounded totally drunk:

 

And the life-changing moment when she presented VOLANTIS, the World's First and Worthless Flying "Dress":

 

And of course all of the amazing videos and performances:

I'm still not sure if she transformed herself into a swan as a reference to Black Swan or Jeff Koons 

And thank God for the amazing rich hoes in the G.U.Y video........ so unnecessary and so iconic

And this amazing performance art

 

Which made poot lovato angry 

 

And this Gareth Pugh outfit that provided so many memories

 

And this outfit

Nobody will ever know if that's a bear, a chicken or a purse on her head... and who cares?

 

I think I could put almost everything off the ARTPOP era here because everything looked hilarious to me, but I just want to say that I love the era so much and it doesn't matter if it was successful or not, what matters is that we've been entertained.

This era had way too much potential for one album alone 

I wouldn't be surprised if she uses some ideas for LG5 now, a new (or finished) Volantis + Intel would slay.
Wasn't there also a picture of her dressing room with some new dresses from TechHaus? Where are those?

Demi clearly did not understand the message. This is not about the throwing up but about the reason. 

I ****ing loved the chicken head dress. It is damn classy. 

I hated the swan in the applause video. It looked cheesy and tacky. 

I still don't understand the involvement of the Housewives. 

Volantis dress was so awesome, it had so much potential.

As much as I love ARTPOP, the app was totally unnecessary. It served no purpose and was not entertaining at all. I don't blame Gaga entirely for that, cause she obviously wasn't the one who designed it, but still Gaga is responsible partially for believing in the wrong people.

Other than that, the music, performances, tour, videos, outfits and fashion were all memorable to me, albeit not as edgy as how she used to look in The Fame, ARTPOP had its own touch that other eras could not replicate.

The Housewives didn't realize their purpose either, because if they did I don't think they would have agreed to be in the video. It was a commentary on pop culture. Gags basically is showing the different between a celebrity and an artist, hence why the housewives are playing the instruments incorrectly because they have no real talent. Kinda shady tbh.
