I would say they are Very Good - Not breathtakingly Amazing but they are getting towards a Very Good rating. She lacks poor time management.

I think that the art that she creates is really just subjective as to if its good or not. This can be said about most art in general. We all have different tastes and expectations as to what makes art good. Is she a good and capable artist? of course.

But a general consensus usually defines if something is good- there is a reason why Spraying Paint out one's asshole is not considered art or in museums- because of its grotesque nature but also its off putting - would you ( not just you but anyone) hang an Ass Spray Paint canvas on your wall?

Yes. I love the fact that she extends her art beyond her music and into her looks. Her looks for the most part reflect whatever song she's promoting at the time. So she's essentially a walking piece of art.

She has her moments of brilliance but I think her take on things is very hectic and she can't concentrate on one thing at a time and expand on that. So there are plenty of moments where she's phoning in and you can see it when she gives these drawn out, sketchy answers about certain stuff. Sometimes she doesn't have a grip on various things that she decides to take on so she bullshits her way out of any meaningful response.

I'm speaking in a general sense meaning I never claimed that her music isn't good because I am a fan after all. However everyone has specific ideals of what art they find to be "good" because it resonates with them. And while hard to believe someone might find an Ass Spray Paint Canvas charming. I mean look at Millie (idk if I spelled her name right :emma:) she makes paint vomit art and it apparently is appreciated by others . I made the mistake of answering the title and not what the op ask though.:emma:

She hasn't done this for years.

Art is art. Art can't be bad. Art can't be good.  It's all about your personal connection and perception of it. :unicorn:

depends on what it is also helps if you actually understand what she's trying to do:

the whole point of ARTPOP was putting ART (jeff koons, marina, paintings she referenced etc.) into POP culture (herself: through music/videos/performances) -"pop culture was in art now art's in pop culture in me"

which is why she constantly referred to it as a "reverse warholian experience" bc it wasn't Warhol's pop art movement she was replicating

 warhol_Marylin_medium.jpg

it was the opposite because she is pop culture

honestly now that she's given the time and has people who have her back 100% and care about her well being her abilities as an artist are going to improve

Yeah I think her art is very good. Im just worried about LG5 art. I think she's struggling with it and worrying because of how everyone turned on her after ARTPOP. I think that mentally and artistically damaged her.

She did it for all the ARTPOP singles and she had a very consistent look for Cheek To Cheek, so.

I thought ARTPOP didn't have a look. Didn't she say no consistency was the point of the era :neyde:
