This expectation certain fans have for her to always stay on the straight and narrow and create things like her past work is so annoying. Why should anything she does have to "top her previous work"? how about just making really good music and we accept it regardless of how others perceive it? Why does everything have to be a chart topper? Some of the greatest most memorable songs in music history were never number one songs or even paid attention to by the media when they first came out. What if it's a hit on a rock chart or a metal chart or a country chart, but not the pop chart? Will you dismiss it as a flop because it's on the pop chart? Why is the pop chart more important than other charts? Why is it all about charts anyway? When did that become the basis for what great music is? To say music from The Fame and The Fame Monster is better than Born This Way? To constantly say Bad Romance or Pokerface or Just Dance or Judas is better than songs like The Edge of Glory, Hair, Born This Way, Till It Happens To You, Speechless, Marry the Night, MANiCURE, Sexxx Dreams is totally ridiculous. Paparazzi is the best song single wise from The Fame/The Fame Monster eras. Gaga has so many better songs and could have such a different career if her fans stop putting so much value on her pop songs and stop seeing her just as a pop girl/woman. She can truly explode on to a whole new level if you remove the pop aspect from her upcoming work. Pop obsessed people really need to stop putting so much value on popular songs. And what if Gaga makes a rock song that becomes extremely popular, will you still dismiss it because it's not your The Fame pop sound? Then The Fame Monster came up with huge hits of it's. And Born This Way. ARTPOP maybe sell less but it WASN'T A FLOP. It did LOT more than an album/era can do. Admit that. Don't manuplate your minds. Cheek to cheek? I enjoyed it so much and it was a smart step to gain new Lil Monsthers from older ages or other genres . I think she topped herself with EVERY album.I enjoy and love and listen every song of Gaga. When I don't like a Gaga song, I usually blame my ears, not Gaga. Because Gaga can't make a bad song. She meant to be on top. So yeah, I think Gaga will smash the fvcking world with her NEXT POP ALBUM!
