But it's probably a safe bet to say that Elton won't turn on her

Umm, Elton John is an LGBT PIONEER!!!  The fact that we are now ABLE to be proud of being out is thanks in part to him!!!  At the time you could NOT be a celebrity and be gay.  He took massive risks to come out to the public - and not just with words but by how he dressed and acted.  

People went through a lot of pain to get us to where we are today.  Nothing any of us do for the rest of our lives will have the impact that Elton John did.

and that's great, we should remind younger generations about people who changed the game back in the day. Even if they heard about Elton because of Gaga, that's a good thing.

No one in this thread fakely claimed to be a biggest Elton fan 4eva; I only see you, holding on to false allegations and whatever you meant by "past straight life". Until we know what happened, we can't call him anything. It's not as clear and evidenced as the others mentioned in the OP are. If it turns out to be true, then you can call him anything you want. But until then, it's not fair to Elton or to Gaga, and we need to respect that.
