The Fame Monster era ("her prime") is actually one of my fondest memories of being in this fandom so I don't think I'd mind the GP praising her again. But even if they don't, as long as the music is good and Gaga gives us her best, I couldn't care less.

True, but whose image is more destroyed?  Madonna's after her sexed-up Erotica era or Lady Gaga's after receiving so much backlash from the GP and the media after ARTPOP failed to sell as much as BTW and TFM?  Give me your honest opinion.

Madge's :duck:

I don't know to be honest.

But for me is like the same. Critics said she was over and she crossed the limits. Her album didn't sell as much as her previous works did. She remade her image with Bedtime Stories and the (awful) Evita.

Gaga did too. But she didn't sex-up her image. She released ARTPOP and no one (GP) understood a thing. Her team made bad decisions and it floped (in comparison to her previous work). She started to remake her image since 2014 (this is like her Bedtime Stories without Human Nature).

maybe "Gaga reborn"? sounds like a movie title tho :rip:

She needs to release a documentary . She's been thru so much **** I'm sure the gp would go and see it . They have a hard time understanding what gaga is really like and what's in her head maybe a film could actually help. They would be an amazing way to release lg5 but now beyonce already released her movie she would gets much hate :saladga:

I want LG5 to be so popular that all the bullies on GGD get a nonstop taste of their own medicine from all the newbies.

I lived in the Erotica era and it was so much more intense than the ARTPOP "backlash".. I don't even consider Gaga's to be a major backlash, it just seemed blown out of proportion because of the Internet where everyone has an opinion and rants on and on through different blogs and forums. There were no legitimate newspapers or magazines discussing  ARTPOP as a failure other than a few lines every now and then.

Madonna was literally on the covers of major serious legitimate magazines during the Erotica era as a hot topic over Erotica and SEX book.

The ARTPOP backlash was blown out of proportion in the heads of fans and haters. The general public just didn't notice or care that much.

I was a teenager in high school during the Erotica era and you're probably right.  The media and the GP wanted to crucify Madonna for her scandalous Sex book and the racy Erotica album.  Having said this, I truly hope Gaga can bounce back the way Madge did.

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

Aww this was so nice. Who would have thought I'd be on this crazy train for 7 years? At this point I'm not getting off for anything.

Yeah, I totally agree with you.  Madge was literally hated in all of America because of her Erotica era and I remember everyone saying her career was over.  I hope LG5 is Gaga's Ray Of Light, tbh.  In terms of critical acclaim and sales, that is.

I just hope Gaga's new solo music is going to get me excited and eargasming the way ARTPOP did.

I remember when Aura leaked and then Applause at the VMAS and the snippets we got of G.U.Y. and Mary Jane Holland and hearing Venus and Dope for the first time and when DWUW impacted the radio ugh I miss those days.

but looking back Erotica and the Sex book were also what defined Madge as a great artist and risk taker- the bravery, the vision and the drive. she paved way for the new era of blonde sex icons in 2000s.
