Everytime someone is extremely successful, some stans get pressed and attack that artist, and start siding with their detractors. By now I'm sure that if Katy Perry and Madonna were to bash Lemonade. She had the choice to forgive or not to forgive, having that choice and making her own decision is still her being a strong independent woman. Leaving someone after they cheat isn't black or white for everyone, there are other things involved and we aren't in their relationship or situation so we don't have the knowledge to sit here on the outside and outright invalidate someone's position as a good role model or strong independent woman Nowhere is anyone promoting cheating or promoting forgiving cheaters, people can make their own decisions because it's their own relationship so they have the best insight into it. If she has chosen to forgive someone then that's her decision, if you don't agree with it that's fine (I don't either to be honest) but it shouldn't be extrapolated to her taking a stance on women's matters.
