But it's not that great of a pop album to be included tbh

LMAO that is hilarious. If Emotion and GGGB are on this list, 1989 DEFINITELY belongs. She won three Grammys and sold 10 Million copies. Very few songs on the album are actually "fillers," and many of the songs are very sonically different than any other album (Out Of The Woods, I Wish You Would are examples.) She also wrote EVERY song. It deserves to be there.

Emotion had class whilst 1989 had repeated pop styled tracks tbh, and sales and awards don't matter, just because it won three non-deserving Grammys doesn't mean it is the best out there. She wrote every song, and so did Carly Rae Jepsen so I don't get your point?

LynpheaStar

it's very pop-gurls-focused and I disagree with many choices

but it's beautifully written, I enjoyed reading it

Why isn't 21 on this list?

I thought about putting Adele on the list but I have trouble throwing her into the pop I was imagining.

laughing my f*cking ass off

Also, no one said it was the best out there. I said it deserves to be in place of Pink Friday, which is not even close to #1.....so....

The hate for Taylor Swift on this site is so real and it is stupid as f*ck

But you said Taylor wrote all the tracks and yet, so did Carly for EMOTION.

I understand that, and I'm not denying that Emotion should be on the list, because it should. I'm saying that Pink Friday should not because it isn't pop music, and that 1989 should be in its place.
