Born This Way is great for someone who feels socially awkward (or outcast), but for someone like me (all my problems are on the inside) ARTPOP is so much better :flutter:

I've witnessed the opposite here in all honesty.

Born This Way is the flamboyant gay at the club every weekend swinging around the poll. ARTPOP is the tag along friend that eventually gets dropped and forgotten, just like Gaga wants to do to it now.

But all Gaga albums have diverse themes. But they also all have a general idea.

yes, but BTW has the most songs (more than half the album) that go in many many directions while TF, TFM and AP dont really gravitate into different topics from their core theme. TF - all songs (except two or three) stay within the realm of "Fame life". TFM - her most perfect cohesive album to date, having all songs be related to ONE theme, stay in the realm of "The dark side of Fame". and AP - all songs except 3 or 4 stay in the realm of "Artistic freedom". BTW deals with 4 major themes - "self identity" (the only theme that should actually exist if we take into account the tittle of the album), "love" "religion" and "government". maybe BTW is not necessarily un-cohesive, but its not exactly a well put together in terms of what we want to represent. theres just way to many different broad topics in just one album.

Charlie Puth's album is far superior to anything Gaga has ever released. Sorry but you know it's true.

You spelt Paris wrong, maggot.

Well that self identity and self worth helps you get out there and find love...then that love can be devalued or denied by a government with stupid laws in place due to religion overstepping its bounds :derpga:

I think Born This Way is actually pretty cohesive considering those topics all overlap in places

i agree that you can obviously overlap all of those, but there is no songs on that album that actually connect them, so it sound like a reach, and even so, its still just a very unecesarily complicated thing. and there´s still songs like HML, fashion of his love, Judas, Highway Unicorn, The Edge of Glory that still dont even fit anywhere with those 4 topics

oh this t

Jewels N' Drugs does fit ARTPOP´S theme though. just because it was made purely out of fun and experimentation it doesnt mean it doesnt relate

She loves ARTPOP  though I guess that's the great thing about Gaga's music. It can be interpreted in so many different ways.

Hmm...well Americano kind of acts like a bridge between love and LGBT life to government (and its unfair laws). Though, I feel like some of those songs are there to either convey a feeling of rebellion against such injustice or to plainly state that it's not right. HML being an example of the former, Americano being the latter.

All in all, the album really revolves around self worth and self empowerment in relation to outside forces which could be any number of things. At least, that's my take on it

I predict you'll be a Charlie Puth fan by then! His stanbase will be known as the Puthters (pronounced "poofters").

See you at the Grammys indeed!
