When compared to artists like Demi, then no, shes not lazy

Did you look at Work video, or Kiss it Better : Anti era is the synonym of laziness, she just performed on Brit awards that's all. Hopefully for her, people liked work.

You cannot compare the two. Lady Gaga was way bigger than Ariana was at her so called peak to date. ARTPOP was a relatively successful album from the biggest artist of the 21st century at the time which made it a flop because the expectations were extremely high. Whereas Ariana is cool she had a successful era with my everything but with the success of focus and dangerous woman which the latter seems to have longevity she is now becoming one of the big superstars of the world she is not flopping she is still rising.

I didn't say having an ARTPOP like it was terrible. It's just that she did break up with her long time manager and so her business ventures and promotion for the album aren't as great as the My Everything era. Focus and Dangerous Woman can't be compared with one another since Focus is, for now, not going to be on the album. DW is falling off of US charts right now and that's entirely due to lack of proper promotion.

ARTPOP says otherwise.

LOL

You can call ARTPOP a bad album, call it a flop or whatever you want

but it WAS NOT LAZY. Gaga promoted Applause and Do What U Want (and to be fair Dope, Gypsy, Venus A LOT), she did festivals and one-off shows (album launching party, Roseland, Jingle Bell Ball, AMAs, VMAs, SNL, Alan Carr, Sukkiri in Japan) filled entirely with new music, she didn't rely much on old music, she designed the choreography for each song BEFORE the tour started.

In contrast, the only televised performance by Rihanna since ANTI is the Brits, I love Rihanna but no ANTI and Dangerous Woman are lazier than ARTPOP to such a great extent.

I can't at you people shading something without processing the facts, it just proves that ARTPOP haters hate for the sake of conforming to the public and without processing what the facts present to them.

It depends. Plenty of artists in the past have boring music/videos and some had great works!

Just as they do today.

If you only listen to pop music, you aren't seeing the whole picture.

Currently listening to Joanne

Shade is a subtle way at insulting someone. I am not being subtle in the slightest. I'm literally calling her out quite clearly. Gays can't even get shade right any more :neyde:

It doesn't matter how much she did when it was all executed really lazy.

You're distorting facts without presenting concrete reasons to support your argument, bye. You clearly lack the competence to understand the OP and what WE as a whole are actually discussing about. We're talking about Gaga's attitude right here which was more than fine, in fact commendable and you're talking about the quality of an era/album which deviates from OP's question.

Bye this is my last reply cause I can't reason with you.

I think you need to stop trying to sound smart. Let's just say you don't come across that way.

You can do many things, but if you put hardly any effort into each of those, you're lazy. It's completely to do with the OP.

By the time you reach the end of this sentence, it'll be too late to realize I just wasted your time with a pointless sig.

Ariana has always been basic ...she has never be THAT artistic. The same with Bieber... expecting quality from them it's just being delusional

Justin Bieber took a different approach with his videos. I wish he had videos with him in them. I admire his pushing boundaries and doing something different. I was impressed by the Focus On Me. I don't think Dangerous Woman (Visual 1) was bad. I just wasn't here for it. I liked her hair was down. They're definitely not lazy. Just not producing the material that you and many would like. I hope more comes out. I will say Adele has been a bit lazy there definitely should have been a single with another video by now. :duck:

I don't know much about Ariana or Bieber's album making process or whether they lip-sync etc so I'm not gonna contest that, but

"they really aren't artists at all, they are karaoke singers singing other people's words" There are many young artists that write their own music or at least some of it, especially those singer-songwriters that come out of youtube etc, including Bieber. Also, getting assistance in song writing isn't something to be ashamed of imo. Saying that they are just singing other peoples words just suggests that humans do not have the ability to relate to a song on an emotional level. They might be the words they have in their mind but can't put them on paper. I don't think that's a reason to not take an artist less seriously or call them lazy.

And the fact that Beyonce can drop an album out of nowhere kinda proves how hard she has worked her entire career to get to this point, it's not lazy it's impressive.

Ariana has never lip synced, her vocals are very impressive and she has writing credits on 1/3 of the songs on her last album.

Additionally further to your previous arguments, the ARTPOP app belonged to Atom Factory, which is owned by Troy Carter, the man she accuses of betraying her and wants nothing to do with. When the two people went their seperate ways there was no way for her to continue work on the ARTPOP app, it had to be scrapped. Along with that she lost all her funding, had nobody to organise promotion for her, and had to manage her own career for a while which is NO easy undertaking.

ARTPOP may not be her best piece of work in your opinion but she gave her all for it. She did so much just to get the album through the door and it's a shame for her that it didn't work out. She was not lazy for a second.

Especially since she poured millions of her own dollars into it.
