THEY ARE LAZY, THEY ARE ENTITLED, THEY ARE NOT TRUE ARTISTS. 

I don't know much about Ariana or Bieber's album making process or whether they lip-sync etc so I'm not gonna contest that, but

"they really aren't artists at all, they are karaoke singers singing other people's words" There are many young artists that write their own music or at least some of it, especially those singer-songwriters that come out of youtube etc, including Bieber. Also, getting assistance in song writing isn't something to be ashamed of imo. Saying that they are just singing other peoples words just suggests that humans do not have the ability to relate to a song on an emotional level. They might be the words they have in their mind but can't put them on paper. I don't think that's a reason to not take an artist less seriously or call them lazy.

And the fact that Beyonce can drop an album out of nowhere kinda proves how hard she has worked her entire career to get to this point, it's not lazy it's impressive.

If you don't like it don't buy it. I think it's cool for people do things differently. Not a fan of any of those artists you listed but why shouldn't they be allowed to be non traditional?

How was she supposed to anticipate her management leaving her and her label cutting off funding to her projects? as a result she had to pay for G.U.Y herself which made her lose millions. she did the best she could out of a **** situation. G.U.Y is amazing for a self funded music video.

It's a lot more political than that. Labels fund/approve everything- especially for newcomers (the younger stars you're referring to). Ari isn't exactly at superstar status where she can call all the shots and pay for her own sh*t. I think her label is a little hesitant to spend anymore since sales haven't been that great for her this era. Also, scheduling has a lot to do with it (bieber). He's on tour and before that he was probably rehearsing/planning it. There's a lot that goes into just a simple photoshoot. But I feel you. This is what the 2000s felt like- boring ass videos one after the other. Then Gaga came along and made everyone step up their game

I have to agree with a lot of this, I see artists become increasingly lethargic toward their own careers and it kills me. I wonder if it's the lack of dominance they have that drives them insane.

That's the whole reason why Focus was dropped. It's not even on the official Track list (as of now). She didn't really like the song and the label pushed to release a Problem 2.0.

Well all of Ari's singles you mentioned are promo singles. Why do we need a single cover for promo singles? She also has the album on iTunes up for pre order so why release the promo single separately from the album? It's not being lazy, just makes more sense lol. She's doing more than your whiny ass on a forum.
