I would say "young artists" (Ariana, Demi (aka Poot), Megan Traitor, etc.) are, but older and more respected artists (Gaga, Beyonce, Rhianna, etc.) are not.

I don't think it equates to lazy. Perhaps they just enjoy making music and want to do that without feeling pressured to always bring something different to the table. There's nothing wrong with wanting to be comfortable. Not everyone has the creative mind to push the envelope etc, that's why there's always only been a few in each generation of artists. Plus I don't recall Ariana or Bieber ever saying that's what they want to dedicate their careers to doing. Leave that to the artists that clearly want to do that otherwise.

They're just making free space for Gaga to slay. Nothing more. She will come with extraordinary video as always and you will see.

You know Ariana is having her own ARTPOP era, right? She just broke up with her 3 year manager and is now putting out music she says she likes and grew up on. I don't consider that lazy but rather difficult. It's fun to bash artists on GGD, but people should remember that not everyone can have Bobby as a manager.

I would perfectly be fine with this photo  with the words "Let Me Love You" written on it. Same for Bieber,

But that's just it, THEY AREN'T MAKING music, they're just putting out any random crap to fulfill contracts, they aren't taking the work seriously, they aren't truly taking time and putting effort into what they create. Its all about just putting out a song, getting that ONE to number one, and then that's it, they think it establishes them as an artist, they just float by maintaining any aspect of fame they can get that comes with having a number one song/album. And they really aren't artists at all, they are karaoke singers singing other people's words, just in it for the fame and money. And they are lazy, barely any promotion, barely any performances, they just appear somewhere, put zero effort into anything and just lipsync their way through sets, not like rock stars or country stars or music stars from years ago or even Gaga, they all perform and are passionate about the music. There is no passion from anyone, they don't care, they are lazy. Like Beyonce for instance, how lazy is she that she just drops an album, does zero interviews, no performances or talk show appearances, its really arrogant and so self righteous how these so called artists act. THEY ARE LAZY, THEY ARE ENTITLED, THEY ARE NOT TRUE ARTISTS.

I've always thought about the "child stars" vs. the stars thing.

My theory is this: People that get famous when they're young (Ariana was an actor, Justin was discovered at a young age on YouTube, idk the situations for the others), they're really enthusiastic about it. They think "Oh! This'll be great! I can do what I love, I'll have millions of fans, everyone will love me and I'll love them all back!" but then they really get into it and after a while, the reality sets in. Instead of them being able to write a song, sing it, and sell it, they have to write it, check with producers, check with their managers, check with the label (who really has almost total control), get shot down again and again until they get something that they're allowed to push forward with. THEN they're practically told what to do by everyone else. Wear this, walk like this, talk like this, you've got this meeting then, that talk show then, we'll start you on a tour in a few months, you'll be away for this long, if you refuse, that's a breach of contract and you'll face a legal battle or fees or something. Nine times out of ten, all that red tape and egg shell walking while not being heard tends to kill their spirits. Then they look for some escapism, usually drugs or just bad behavior, just so they can have some control over their lives again.

Ones like Gaga or Beyonce, they worked for years gradually getting into it all and they knew it's what they wanted and were strong enough to take it without letting their ideas be put on the back burner. Gaga more so than anyone, imo. At this point, I feel like Gaga would destroy Introscope and put everyone in a trunk on highway 10 should they try to take control of her career :laughga: Artists like her, they're ready for that hustle. They even look forward to it 'cause they've dreamed of it all their lives. A child just isn't ready to be thrust into that life for the rest of their lives.

It doesn't matter though. The point is that she tried to deliver and thus was not "lazy."

But she didn't deliver and should have known better.

Is the beyonce part sarcastic? I mean, she basically made a movie for her album and i think she writes some of her more personal songs (daddy lessons). Also she has a kid.

Really? That's one of the many things I admire about Gaga. Good on Ariana for taking control of her career and having her vision be at the forefront :flutter:

You mean a dress which wasn't even finished and a broken app that didn't deliver anything it promised.

'Lazy' wasn't the reason things weren't delivered. You've been posting way to much. Go change Saint's diaper.
