Unlike you I don't criticise art based upon the other art around it, I criticise it as a stand alone piece within the artist's own context, so no, I won't mention other soulful albums outside of ARTPOP for now. She not only talks, but sonically makes the listener recognise that she is screaming about rape, uses a low vibrato on 'Dope' to highlight her deep sadness, channels disco and R&B influences and on DWUW writes honestly and uses her vocal abilities in a unique way to shout at the critics. 

And you call it soulless. So no, I will no longer collude with you. I can't take you seriously anymore.

I'm insecure about it? I'm not at all. I enjoy ARTPOP, I've always stated that. It just confuses me why people not only try to make it out to be some kind of complex genius work but then put people down because they don't "get" it. You're doubting the opinion of someone who has stated they are an educated artist because they disagree with you... If you don't think it's creative/artistic then you know nothing about art. That's what you're saying whilst at the same time saying it's not about superiority.

You're misquoting me every time, making up your own meanings for what I'm saying and ignoring where I am proving my point. Look across the last few pages of this thread, I've responded to others with why and how I think that it is a work of art, I've listed just a few of many reasons why it is. But no, what you'll do is ignore that, and probably make some cheap, low reference to my username again to try and prove a point which doesn't have any merit. I'm done colluding with you, I can't take you seriously.

if that drawing is dedicated to your niece's parents, then, according to my perception of art, sure. as an educated artist, you must know about canonization and its highly subjective process. so yes, it can have the same "depth."

On topic, ARTPOP being more creative than Lemonade is an opinion, so don't state it as fact to get a hit thread and incite arguments.
