While I do love the message and its corresponding movie for Lemonade, I prefer self titled by a lot. I don't think Bey could ever top it, the more I listen to it I love it more. But Lemonade is easier to like, imo...with self titled, I had to listen to it a couple of times to really "get it", while Lemonade felt good in my ears from the get go. SirLudicopro 1,351 Posted April 24, 2016 Share Posted April 24, 2016 I really don't know Right now I'd lean more towards BEYONCÉ since I'm in love with Ghost / Haunted, Blow and Blue and I like the majority of the other songs, while LEMONADE doesn't have as many tracks that really scream "wow" to me quite yet. This said, my opinion will probably change by tomorrow. It's still so early, I have to listen to the album more times. Harry 26,836 Posted April 24, 2016 Share Posted April 24, 2016 I can't really choose just yet. I'm not familiar enough with Lemonade, but it's clearly a great album. It does have a lot more depth than ST and it's more experimental, but ST has songs that I've become really fond of and will listen to forever. It'll probably be the same with Lemonade, but time will tell. Objectively, Lemonade is a more impressive body of work so I'll vote for it. But I haven't really made up my own personal view yet. So it is neither true or false. Many more people enjoying this album a lot more than her past works as well.
